HVAC records and evidence

Keep the system’s identity, documents, service, and measurements in context.

DwellMetry can organize the HVAC record today. Advanced performance and behavior analysis stays separate and appears only for authorized, supported, data-ready homes.

Current accessHVAC records are available with a Free household. Advanced analysis has separate data and permission requirements.

The useful starting point

One connected system record.

Keep the system, components, location, relationships, manuals, warranty terms, service events, and supported utility history together. Dates can remain exact, approximate, or unknown.

Equipment identity
Manufacturer, model, system type, components, and evidence state where known.
Documents
Manuals, inspection records, warranty sources, and reviewed extraction candidates.
History
Service events, reported work, parts, maintenance tasks, and corrections in chronological order.
Measurements
Telemetry remains raw until normalized and quality checked; missing readings never become zero.

Interpretation boundary

Keep evidence, behavior, and professional findings distinct.

Observation
A direct measurement, device report, user entry, or sourced record.
Performance pattern
A supported comparison such as runtime or recovery behavior—not a fault diagnosis.
Anomaly candidate
Persistent behavior outside an applicable expected range. Its score is not a failure probability.
Possible explanation
One evidence-based possibility that keeps contradictory and missing information visible.
Professional finding
A finding recorded from an appropriate qualified source. DwellMetry does not silently claim this state.

When analysis is unavailable

The record still works. DwellMetry should explain whether access, a supported measurement, sufficient coverage, weather history, model validation, or another prerequisite is missing.

Static home details, a subscription, or one sensor cannot create calibrated thermal behavior.

No guaranteed diagnosis

DwellMetry does not claim exact failure dates, guaranteed causes, or confirmation that equipment is safe. Serious current indicators belong to deterministic safety escalation and qualified help—not an anomaly score.

Technical status and limitations

Advanced analysis is available only to eligible homes with the required measurements, history, and permission.

Advanced results are estimates, not confirmed causes or professional findings. They remain unavailable when the required measurements, data quality, history, validation, or permission is missing.
