Connected home records

See how the parts of a home connect—and how each detail is supported.

DwellMetry’s Digital Twin connects structure, rooms, systems, equipment, and records. It keeps that record layer separate from calibrated behavior models that need measurements, history, and validation.

Two layers, kept distinct

A connected record is useful before a calibrated model exists.

Record layer

Structure and evidence

Homes, floors, rooms, zones, systems, equipment, documents, service history, maintenance, and utility records can be connected with visible evidence states.

Advanced analysis

Calibrated behavior

A behavior model is not created from static home details. It requires suitable measurements, enough history, current validation, and any required permission.

Fictional schematic — not to scale

An accessible record hierarchy, not a scan of a real home

The visual and list below show the same synthetic relationships. Illustrations never create canonical home records.

  1. Example home User confirmed
    1. First floor User confirmed
      1. Living room Document supported
    2. HVAC system Location relationship needs review
      1. Service record Source document retained

Five meanings that must not collapse into one

Observation
A measurement, device report, user entry, or sourced record—not an explanation.
Anomaly
A qualified departure from an applicable expected range—not a failure probability.
Hypothesis
A bounded interpretation that keeps supporting, contradicting, and missing evidence visible.
Possible cause
One contributor consistent with available evidence, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Professional finding
A dated finding recorded from an appropriate qualified source, never silently generated by DwellMetry.

What an illustration cannot establish

Phone images, depth data, and visible geometry cannot by themselves reveal hidden insulation, duct leakage, refrigerant condition, wiring condition, internal pipe condition, or structural integrity.

Technical status and limitations

Advanced analysis is available only to eligible homes with the required measurements, history, and permission.

Scientific outputs remain separate from urgent safety states and do not replace a professional inspection or diagnosis.
